2 Years Old

It's crazy how fast two years goes by.  Casey and I were talking about it yesterday.... on one hand it seems like just yesterday but on the other hand it seems so long ago because I can barely remember a time before we had our little Hud.

At two he is such a nut and makes us laugh daily.  He is such a jabber box especially when he is comfortable in his environment.  We feel a little spoiled to have such a great kid.  He is an awesome communicator, always letting us know what he is thinking about or what he wants to to ("Wanna go outside.  Eat a snack.  Take a bath.")  He definitely has a strong-willed, stubborn streak and will let you know by pitching a fit (and will sometimes tell you he is having a "fit") but will usually do as he his told.  If not he will sit in timeout and then apologize when he gets up ("I sorry Mama.").  He knows how to joke and teases me when I ask him if he loves me ("Hudson, do you love Mama?"  He grins and says "Love Woody!" and starts laughing).   He's a self-soother, patting himself on the chest and saying "it's ok" if something worries or scares him.

He already loves the ladies and will point out any "lil girl!" wherever we go and won't hesitate to give one a hug on the playground.  He gets compliments on his eyes and eyelashes wherever we go.  He LOVES to be outside and is obsessed with the lawn mower, blower, and tools in general.  He isn't a picky eater but definitely loves him some mac and cheese and pizza.  Not so much the vegetables but loves fruit so we take what we can get.

We feel so blessed to have him in our lives!  We love you Hudson!  Happy birthday!
