Peonies

I love love love peonies.  I was little bit crushed when I couldn't have them for my wedding bouquet years ago because they were out of season.

 (sigh)

They are pretty expensive so Casey has only given them to me once (when I graduated hygiene school).  Well, this weekend he surprised me with three peony bushes!  There are no blooms yet but I have high hopes for them.  Knowing us and our gardening skills, they will be dead within the year.

I admit that I suspect that this is all a ploy to never have to buy me flowers again.  I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.
